Applications

Tiny homes & granny flats

The natural partner for Hari Tiny Homes and 70m² builds.

Small standalone homes up to 70m² are what our sister company Hari Tiny Homes builds every week. Screw piles suit them perfectly: quick to install, easy to level, and removable. We can pile any brand of tiny home or granny flat, not just Hari's.

Why screw piles

  • Quick to install and easy to level, even on a sloping back yard.
  • Fits through tight side access, so the rest of the section stays tidy.
  • Works for Hari Tiny Homes and any other brand of tiny home or granny flat.
  • Removable if the home is moved or sold on.

Good to know

From 2026, small standalone homes up to 70m² can be built without a building consent if they meet the Schedule 1 conditions. Anything bigger, or outside those conditions, needs consent and an engineered foundation. Helical piles are always installed by us, not supply only.

How it works

From enquiry to building on it.

  1. 1

    Tell us about it

Call, email or send your estimate. Plans help, but a sketch with dimensions is fine to start.

  2. 2

    Site check

We look at access, ground and underground services, and confirm the right pile for the job.

  3. 3

    Engineering

For consented work, the engineer designs the layout and target torque and issues a PS1.

  4. 4

    Install day

Set-out, then each pile screwed to target torque and cut to level, with depth and torque logged.

  5. 5

    Handover

The torque record and PS3 go to you and the engineer, and your builder starts straight away.
