Relocated & transportable homes
Piles ready the day before the house arrives, and removable if it moves again.
We install the piles to the layout before the house arrives, so it can be craned or rolled straight on. If the building moves again one day, the piles unscrew, with no concrete left behind.
Why screw piles
- Piles are in and level before the house arrives, so it goes straight on.
- No waiting for concrete to cure between pile day and delivery day.
- Good for soft or out-of-the-way sites where a concrete truck struggles.
- If the building moves again, the piles unscrew and leave nothing behind.
Good to know
We set out the piles to match the house's bearers, from its pile plan or the engineer's design. Tell us the delivery date early so everything is ready in time. A relocated house usually needs a building consent for its new site.
How it works
From enquiry to building on it.
-
1
Tell us about it
Call, email or send your estimate. Plans help, but a sketch with dimensions is fine to start.
-
2
Site check
We look at access, ground and underground services, and confirm the right pile for the job.
-
3
Engineering
For consented work, the engineer designs the layout and target torque and issues a PS1.
-
4
Install day
Set-out, then each pile screwed to target torque and cut to level, with depth and torque logged.
-
5
Handover
The torque record and PS3 go to you and the engineer, and your builder starts straight away.
