About us
Builders who got tired of waiting for concrete.
Kiwi Screw Piles is the foundations company from the team behind Kiwi Steel Frames, Hari Tiny Homes and Pro Windows & Doors, all run from the same yard on Great South Road, Takanini.
Why screw piles, and why us
Between steel frames, tiny homes, granny flats and joinery, our businesses are on building sites across the upper North Island every week. Again and again, the foundation set the pace: holes to dig, spoil to cart away, inspections to book, concrete to pour, then days of waiting before anyone could build.
Screw piles cut most of that out. They go in with a small rig, carry load straight away, work in the wet and on slopes, and every pile comes with a record of the torque it took to install. As demand from our own customers grew, it made sense to set up a company that does nothing else.
So that's Kiwi Screw Piles: the right pile for the job, installed properly, signed off with the paperwork council wants, and a team that already knows what goes on top of it.
How we work
What you can expect.
-
Proof, not promises
Every pile gets a depth and torque reading, and you and your engineer get the record.
-
Paperwork sorted
Engineering, PS1 and PS3 handled for consented work, so there are no surprises at inspection.
-
On time
We turn up when we say we will. Your builder's day depends on it, and so does ours.
-
Honest advice
If concrete is the better answer for your site, we'll say so.
-
Built to last
Hot-dip galvanised steel, specified by the engineer for your soil and location.
-
One team
Frames, tiny homes and joinery from our sister companies, with no finger-pointing between trades.
One yard, the whole build
From the ground up, on Great South Road.
Kiwi Screw Piles shares a yard and a team with Kiwi Steel Frames, Hari Tiny Homes and Pro Windows & Doors. So the piles, the frame, the home and the joinery can all come from people who work together every day, with one point of contact and nothing lost between trades.
